Leyamma Memorial School of Nursing
Leyamma Memorial School of Nursing was established in 1962 to cater to the need for trained nurses in the community. Our nursing school is recognised by Indian Nursing Council and the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council. We have facilities to train 30 students in every batch. Till now, 48 batches of General Nursing & Midwifery ( GNM ) students have passed out of this institution.
Leyamma Memorial School of Nursing is an institution run by Mundakapadam Mandirams Society, a registered charitable society ( K 28 of 1956 ). Mandiram Hospital administers this institution.
Academics
All Students have to focus on academic excellence to achieve the objectives set for a student of nursing.
All Students need to follow the rules and regulations set up by Nursing School, Mandiram Hospital, Indian Nursing Council, Kerala State Nurses and Midwives Council.

Library
Nursing School has a well equipped library. Library is stocked with all relevant nursing books, journals, periodicals and leading newspapers.
Computer Centre
We have a computer lab sufficient for the needs of the nursing students to cover all aspects of their curriculum. Alumni has sponsored this centre.
Hostel
Our nursing school has excellent hostel facilities. All female nursing students are expected to reside in the hostel.
Alumni
Over the last 48 years, our school has built a strong Alumni Network. Our School gets generous help and donations from its Alumni as paybacks.
PTA
Nursing School has an engaging PTA. School keeps close relationship with parents of the students.
