Mandiram Hospital is a multispecialty general hospital run by Mundakapadam Mandirams Society, a registered charitable society – K 28 of 1956. The hospital is situated on picturesque Mandiram Hill, providing a serene atmosphere to patients and staff alike.
For the last 80 years, the hospital has been serving the local community at affordable rates and inmates and staff of Agathi Mandiram and Balika Mandiram for free. Hospital gives special consideration to poor and needy whenever necessary.
Mandiram Hospital and Mundakapadam Mandirams Society bear witness to Jesus Christ through the Ministry of Healing.

Mandirams - 1943
In 1943, Shri P. C. George and his friends started Mandiram Hospital as a dispensary for the local community and the inmates of Agathi Mandiram.
Many deaths due to cholera and typhoid during late 1930s and early 1940s in Manganam and surrounding areas compelled them to open this hospital.
Over the years, Mandiram Hospital has grown into a 200 bedded multispeciality general hospital with more than 20 departments, around 45 doctors, 80 nurses, 30 paramedical staff and 50 other supporting staff.
Mandiram Hospital works in a not-for-profit mode. Hospital’s growth is attributed to selfless work and generous contribution of individuals, families, organisations and beneficiaries.

We, the staff and volunteers of Mandiram Hospital always keep the motto of our founder Shri P. C. George – We live by faith.
We are healthcare professionals with a service oriented approach towards patients. We serve around 1,20,000 patients every year. We upgrade and add departments and facilities to the hospital to serve the community, based on it’s changing needs. Laparoscopic Surgery, Dialysis Centre, Home Health Care and Palliative Care Unit are few examples.
Mandiram Hospital provides free treatment to the tune of Rs 50 lakhs every year to palliative care patients and patients admitted in general ward. We have free clinics open between 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also conduct health camps and clinics in different locations around Manganam.
