Mandiram Institute of Health and Allied Sciences (MIHAS) was established in the year 2023 with the objectives of offering Courses, Training Programmes and Internship opportunities in the field of healthcare and allied sciences.

The Institute is a Unit of Mundakapadam Mandirams Society, a registered Charitable Society: Reg. No. K-28 of 1956. The Society manages a Group of Institutions comprising of Agathimandiram, Balika Mandiram, Senior Homes, Palliative Project, Mandiram Hospital, Mandiram Hospice, Leyamma Memorial College of Nursing and Mandiram Institute of Health and Allied Sciences. Mandiram Hospital a Multispecialty NABH accredited (Entry Level) Hospital is known for its excellent healthcare services and compassionate care of patients. The Institute is situated within the premises of the Hospital.

Mandiram Institute of Health Sciences is a Government-recognized Training Body with Accreditation by ASAP – Kerala (Additional Skill Acquisition Programme) under Higher Education Department, Govt. of Kerala.MIHAS is currently offering the Course General Duty Assistant – Advanced, affiliated to ASAP. Certification will be by NCVET (National Council for Vocational Education and Training).

New Premises of MIHAS was inaugurated by Sri. George Varghese, Chairman, Mundakapadam Mandirams Society and Mandiram Hospital Chaplain, Fr. M.K. Kurien blessed and dedicated the new Centre.
