Department of Urology of Mandiram Hospital offers Outpatient, Diagnostic Services and Management of Urological problems.
Rheumatology Services and Treatments Rheumatology treatment services include diagnosis and treatment of conditions causing inflammation or diseases of joints and other parts of the musculoskeletal system and systemic autoimmune conditions commonly referred to as rheumatic diseases. Patients having joint swelling, pain and symptoms like recurrent fever, rash, photosensitivity, recurrent oral ulcers, reddish or blueish discoloration of hands, severe dryness of mouth or eyes, non-healing ulcers with or without joint pains shall consult a rheumatologist.
Department of Radiology and Imaging of Mandiram Hospital undertakes all conventional and routine radiological and imaging studies using state of the art equipment. We have two ultrasound machines with doppler and cavitary probes. Abdominal, pelvic, doppler and guided FNAC are done frequently. Digital X-ray facility is also available. A CT Scan service for plain and contrast studies of the whole body is available. We strive to meet all the patient and clinical needs in diagnostic imaging.

Vishranthi Centre, the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Science of Mandiram Hospital, was established in 1972, by Psychiatrist, Dr Baker Fenn. In South India, Vishranthi Centre is the first psychiatry department in a general hospital setting under the private sector. This department has been a solace to many mental health patients for more than four decades.Vishranthi Centre is situated on the top of picturesque Mandiram hills. Our department renders both inpatient and outpatient services.
Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of Mandiram Hospital, was established in 1983 with equipment donated by Bread for India. Physiotherapy is the science of diagnosing and treating injuries or diseases by using physical means. The main aim is to reduce pain and minimise dysfunction by using evidence-based techniques. The department has 4 physiotherapists. They treat individuals of all age groups starting from newborns to the elderly. They look into the biomechanics of movement and mobility.
Outpatient and Inpatient services : Currently 2 paediatric (child health) specialists in the Department of Paediatrics of Mandiram Hospital provide daily outpatient services, coverage of new-born nursery and support the obstetric services (new-born care at birth) and offer 24 hour coverage for Mandiram Hospital’s inpatient paediatric wards as well as paediatric patients in the Emergency Department (casualty).

Palliative medicine utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, relying on inputs from physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, community volunteers and other allied health professionals in formulating a “plan of care” to relieve suffering in all areas of a patient’s life. This multidisciplinary approach allows the palliative care team to address physical, emotional, spiritual, and social concerns that arise with advanced illness. Palliative Care Unit is a Social Service Initiative of Mandiram Hospital. Treatment is free for palliative care patients admitted in general ward of Mandiram hospital. However voluntary donations from patients and relatives are accepted.

In 1943, Shri P. C. George and his friends started Mandiram Hospital as a dispensary for the local community and the inmates of Agathi Mandiram.
Many deaths due to cholera and typhoid during late 1930s and early 1940s in Manganam and surrounding areas compelled them to open this hospital.
