In 1933, Late Mr. P.C. George opened his own dwelling to the destitutes and his sister Leyamma nursed the inmates. This was the humble beginning of Mundakapadam Mandirams.

Mandiram offers a spectrum of charitable activities – Home for the Indigent (Agathi Mandiram), Senior Homes, Balika Mandiram, Child Sponsorship Project, Palliative Care Project, Home care Service, Community Health Project and the Mandiram Hospice!

Mandiram Hospital extends free medical care to the inmates of the Agathi Mandiram, Balika Mandiram, Hospice and to hundreds of poor and needy persons from the nearby villages.

Mandiram Hospital has embarked on a Project to upgrade and modernize its services and facilities in keeping pace with the technological advances in the field of healthcare.
